Academic writing
Marginalia
You write the paper. We keep the sources straight.
Marginalia is named for the notes a reader writes in the margins — the human arguing with the text. It supports research, outlining and drafting for serious academic work without putting words in your mouth.
What it does
Inside Marginalia
Sources that stay attached to claims
Research and notes stay bound to the source they came from, so a citation is something you can follow rather than something you reconstruct the night before a deadline.
An editorial pass you can accept or reject
Request an edit pass and get back a Word document with tracked changes and comments. Nothing is applied for you — you accept and reject in Word, as you would with any editor.
A visible record of how much was you
An authorship meter shows the balance between your own prose and tool-assisted text as you work, and the export carries a disclosure of how the tool was used.
An integrity self-check before you submit
Run a check over the draft before it goes in. It is a prompt to look again at anything that needs a source or a second read — it is not a plagiarism-detection service and does not claim to be one.
Built for graduate students, researchers and anyone writing work that has to survive a citation check.
